City Bike tour
Experience Berlin’s city center on two wheels and learn all the exciting stories about the Berlin Wall, the Reichstag and Brandenburg Gate, about the history of Berlin’s royals and its medieval past. On this tour you will get an idea why Berliners use their bicycles more often than their cars. Encounter residential areas, the Government Quarter, a royal palace and Germany’s highest building. Start and end of the tour is at the historic site where the Berlin Wall first fell in November 1989.

The tour starts at Bornholmer Bridge where the first border crossing was opened on the 9th of November 1989. From there the tour takes you to the golden dome of the New Synagogue on Oranienburger Strasse and the splendor of the world’s largest show stage at Friedrichstadtpalast. From there the tour continues through the Government Quarter with the Reichstag building, the Brandenburg Gate, the Holocaust Memorial, further to the historical part of the city with Gendarmenmarkt, Unter den Linden and the reconstructed city palace. You will see the Nicholas Quarter with Berlin’s oldest church, the Red Town Hall and Alexanderplatz with the TV Tower which is 368 m high. From there you will cycle through typical residential quarters and finally get back to Bornholmer Bridge where the tour started.
