This tour starts in the heart of the former capital of Prussia, Berlin. Right next to the City Palace, that is currently being reconstructed, the Prussian kings built their cultural treasure cove. These five museums represent about 6000 years of human history. Recent reconstructions involving several star architects from all over the world have truly made the island a must-see gem. Visit the highlights of the collection with us: the Processional of Babylon and the legendary beauty of the Egyptian queen Nefertiti. See Berlin´s largest church, the Berlin cathedral, the City Palace Reconstruction Site and all five Museums: the Old Museum, the New Museum, the Old National Gallery, the Bode Museum and the Pergamon Museum.Note: due to renovation work the Pergamom Altar cannot be visited.
